Life Groups
At Riverlife we all seem to like each other.
Consequently, we offer opportunity for people to connect deeper within a smaller group than simply at our Sunday event. These gatherings often happen over coffee, a meal or supper with the aim of ‘doing life’ together, learning & growing, and supporting each other. Prayer for each other plays an important role on these occasions.
Current groups include:
- Monday – 7.30pm Bli Bli
- Tuesday – 7pm Marcoola (Men’s group) or 7.15pm Pacific Paradise
- Wednesday – 9.30am Bli Bli, 7pm Bli Bli, or 7pm various venues (Lady’s group)
Mums & Bubs
A group of laid back mums who laugh, love, and learn together. They explore womanhood, motherhood, and marriage from different angles, learning from each other’s journey in life.
The group meets each week at Maroochydore RSL for coffee, cake and a chat while the kids enjoy a play together under their watchful eyes, in the children’s playroom.
When – Thursdays 9.30am
Where – Maroochydore RSL
KidZone
Our children’s ministry leaders plan fun and engaging activities for kids each Sunday morning during term time. Our leaders are all adults who hold Blue Cards.
Pebbles
For children age 1 to Year 1.
Pebbles is a river-inspired name that refers to small things making a big difference. As shown in God using David to defeat Goliath with a small stone (pebble). We believe that God can use our littlest congregation members to make a big impact.
RiverKids
For children in Years 2 to 6.
Equiping children to know, grow and show God’s love. It is our desire to develop their trust in Christ as their Saviour, and feel confident turning to God in prayer.

Random Acts of Kindness
You’ll see our business cards around the place. Often known as “paying it forward” or Random Acts of Kindness – we enjoy showing love to our Sunny Coast community by doing something for someone else so that Jesus maybe honoured. We believe that Jesus and the Early Church went out of their way to be known as a people with a generous spirit. This is a core part of our make-up at Riverlife.
Whether it’s…
- mowing a lawn
- baking biscuits for a neighbour
- providing a free coffee
- offering a kind word or smile
- leaving money in a shopping trolley
- taking an interest in your day, or
- simply letting a stranger go ahead of you in a line
It’s what we love to do at Riverlife.
Welcome to the Neighbourhood
Footpath House Number Stencilling – Free!
Wheelie Bin Clean – Free!
One of the current struggles for the Western Church is to show our Community that the local church is a positive place and that Christians are good people to hang around.
Consequently, in conjunction with local Real Estate we offer every home bought in the area free house number stenciling and a one-off wheelie bin clean as a means to introduce ourselves. It’s non-intrusive, just a simple “Hi, and welcome to the area.”
Pushbikers
A regular monthly event where a group of casual biker riders cycle from Mudjumba to Marcoola to enjoy the Friday night Street Food markets. We enjoy a good chat over a glass of wine and great food from the street food markets in the fresh air. It’s a great way to finish the working week!
